when are you marrying

I see them everywhere
they are called happily married
together they find happiness
separated they are lonely
it scares me to the bone
I never knew I was paranoid
when people ask me many times
when are you tying the knot
I wonder if they seek my smile
or want to join them in pain
as they realized the bindings
of a clichéd heavenly match
for me its not a matter of hate
maybe it can be termed as fear
of being ruled by a tyrant
it may seem I am demonizing
a nice prospective bride
but once crowned wife
she will be lord of my life
laying down rules day-to-day
list of chores that overflows
sharing sovereign couch
conceding TV remote
and then watch in horror
as dark days descend on me
and filled with sarcasm
will run around asking
my friends when they marrying

endelible

Now that I am leaving
I will miss you all
journey together in SDLC
was enriching and exciting
still remember the first days
fresh out of college
thrilled to contribute
proud to make a difference
as years piled on
it didn't seem like a drag
knowledge and friends
garnered along the way
but now that I leave
to seek greener pastures
there will always remain
special place for one and all
but its not about me
its about you
who tolerated my eccentricities
and also assisted my growth
clearly more than anything else
believed that I could succeed
Now I carry the same belief
with nostalgia packed along
hoping you never forget me
because you have left
an indelible mark

As I recently joined a new company. On last day of work, I wrote the above poem and sent it to all my colleagues and friends of my earlier company, with whom I spent some amazing 4 years.

Effort

To do this did you always want

whose are these aims

you are trying to achieve

whose are these dreams

you are trying to fulfill

whose are these plans

you are trying to implement

have you lost your self

or are trying to suppress

whose are these deeds

you are trying to prevent

whose are these pockets

you are trying to fill

whose are these mouths

you are trying to feed

do you do it for your

loved ones?

then you better make your

best effort

Immortal love

Oh the sun shines everyday

and the moon lights up the dark

all the stars twinkle every night

likewise my love is eternal

only you I will always love

all the leaves one day turn brown

together they fall to the ground

but my love wont fade away

will follow your thoughts everywhere

will survive decades if not centuries

my love for you is immortal

p.s. this one I wrote for my college crush, have no idea where she is nowadays
